thanks paul h ,re:c3 speedo cluster,u need to remove the long plastic bar about 7inches long which is over the steering,just push it forward each side to unclip.followed ur instructions no probs,{my advice} is if u replace speedo cluster get one first for ur model do not disconnect battery as this will give an engine warning on dash,take off connecting block back of speedo mother board and connect new speedo cluster,put everthing back u will be ok ,u cannot replace led lights.let the computer lads on the web sort it out 4 u. i cud not get a replacement cluster from a good breakers yard anywhere so i bit the bullet and had to buy new £560, fitted it myself,all this because a led light had blown on the speedo arm cud not see what speed i was doing at night the led lights are about 2mm square very small.labour wud have been about £200 to take out n fit.the cluster is only a display of lights. the info comes from ur onboard computer. my model is c3 2011

Also I only get the whining noise when at high revs, any ideas from the forum?

No smoke coming for the back at all

The pipe may be slightly blocked so there is not enough oil getting to the bearing in the turbo. What else could be making the whining noise?

Thanks for your reply but I have taken the car to citroend dealer paid them 50quid for them to check it over told me there was a problem with one of the veins in the turbo hence the whining noise. But some one else has said to check to see if the oil pipe is blocked staving the turbo of oil

Hi all This is my first post, i have got a citroen c3 1.4 connection model. For the last couple of months there has been a whining noise, which Citroen dealer has told me i need a new turbo (and after the £50 for them to check it out) anyway one of my dads mates has said there could be a blocked oil pipe gong to the turbo, so does any one know where that is and how to remove it. Thanks
