Think I know the answer to this one, but thought I'd throw it out to the more experienced owners out there. Recently bought an 07 1.6 VTX HDi At the end of a 150 mile journey, I put my foot on the clutch, and it didn't fully come back up on release. It had about an inch of travel left in it, and I could still change gear etc. A quick flick under the clutch pedal, and it returned to it's normal position. From that point onwards, it has developed a high pitched whine whenever the clutch pedal is depressed (very noticeable at the M6 toll-booth!). I believe that it is the throwout bearing that has gone, but didn't know if there was anything else I should be looking at investigating before it hits the garage?
