The Mark 3 C5 does not have a door strap though. It is a mechanism contained within the top door hinge.

It has been to the garage today for a check over and asked about the doors. The power steering fluid was low the other day and has now gone back up. Anyway, he said these doors don't have door straps. The spring and makanisum is broke. If we was to get a new one it would need spraying red, so it can stay broke!

The door itself, it's not catching to keep it open. Once you let go it closes.

Hi All, last week we noticed a problem with one of the rear doors. It will not stay open what so ever, it just closes straight shut. Any ideas?

Hi, we had a problem with our Tourer. The front nearside tyre wearing more on the outside and more than the offside. Two or three times its been tracked to keep it right.

It actually happened twice on each front window. The first two when it was under warranty and the second two last year. This is a 2008 car, was £300 each time to have them fixed.

Been after a new interior for our 2008 tourer, tried a few places and had no luck. She's just short off 100k on the clock and would love some new seats. How much would a new interior be direct from a Citroen dealership? Thanks,

Another window regulator has gone, getting sick of it now. Is there now recall on these things? Costing £300 each time they break :/

We have three rear headrests for the original C3, the blue interior. They are like brand new and was only on the car for a few months and have had them since. Wanting to sell them.

Hi, our 2008 red tourer over time has developed quite a few scratches and today someone has decided to scratch all the way down the side of the car. What would you say is the best T Cut for citroen c5's?

We had the same problem, a new fuse box and it was fixed.

Hi All, we have a red 2008 c5 tourer. It is a fantastic car, very comfortable and just great all round. It has done up to today 90,000 miles. But over the years we have had problems. When it was two years old both front window regulators broke and where replaced on warranty. The car had no problems after that till about 2 years ago, suddenly there was a loud noise from the clutch and that needed to be replaced, after 2 months when travelling at around 20mph sometimes the revs would suddenly drop for about 3 seconds then recover with a warning light on the dash. It turned out to be a faulty fuse box and that was replaced. About a year ago one of the day time lights went but we have not had it replaced. Last month the front passenger side window regulator broke again and was a costly 300+ fix. It is a great car but with it being an early model it does have its problems, I would recommend it to anyone.
