  1. Greetings All, Greetings from Sligo, West of Ireland. I have a 1999 Xantia Turbo Diesel, Chassis No VF7x1DHXF72196140 with 188K miles on it and she runs like a dream. However, the main water hoses at the back of the engine have hardened and broken. I have been told by Citroen that they are not making them anymore and I was wondering if anyone knew if the club has access to them. Apparently it is a double hose that goes from the cylinder head to the car heater, and then from the heater to the water pump. I have also been told that the Citroen Parts No was 6464QR. This car was sold as a new car in Ireland so hopefully the Chassis and Part number also applies to any manuals/catalogues that are available in the UK. Ideally I'd like new ones, but may have to settle for good second hand ones. If anyone can help, please let me know and I can phone to arrange payment and carraige. Many thanks, Lloyd Sweetnam
  2. Greetings to you all from Sligo. I am the proud owner of a 1999 Xantia Turbo Diesel that I bought as a demonstrator and have had it since Sept 1999. It is my 3rd Citroen, the other two being a 1973 (I think) 2 Chevaux (many years ago) and my current work van is a 1998 Berlingo with about 138K miles on her and running like a dream. The Xantia has 188000 miles on her and is also running like a dream. She is Dante Red Merallic and looked a million dollars until recently but the top lacquer on the paint is beginning to break up as I live by the sea and I think that that is taking its toll after all these years. However, that is not my real problem. Its perishing water hoses and I'm hoping that I will be able to get them sorted. I'll post in the appropriate section and hopefully I will be able to locate them so I can get my regal carriage back on the road again. All the best for now, Lloyd
