Hi everyone, please can you tell me if anyone has experienced problems with the new C1 puretech 82 engine. Ive had my new car for around a month now and when I pull away in first gear I get a dip or flat spot., at first I thought it was my driving because I had been used to my reliable old C1 998cc which drove like a dream, but my husband has the same problem with it. I have been back to the service department, they did a diagnostic check and said there is nothing wrong with it and I need to drive it differently. I really do feel this is not right. Anyone else have the same experience.???

Hello everyone - Have had my new C1 Airscape for two weeks now, so excited to finally pick it up after waiting since February. But am very disappointed with the drive - when I pull away in first gear I get a dangerous little flat spot before it springs into action. At first I thought it was my driving - I have just traded in my old C1 998cc and this new 1.2 is certainly more racey. But after confirmation by my husband driving it, he confirmed that it wasnt me but seem to be an engine problem. We droppped in to see our Citroen Sales man and he took it for a drive - he drove it as though it was a Ferarri and managed not to get the problem initially, then once he calmed down it did it to him as well. So we all went out in the demo car from the forecourt and it did it again - so he has told me to drive it differently and it might change with age! Im not too happy about that because my old C1 was a doddle to drive and as much as I absolutly love my new Airscape it makes it hard work instead of a pleasure! Has anyone else had similar problems? Do you think I should contact the service department? Would love to hear your views. JULIA :unsure:
