  1. I replaced the sensor but it hasn't made any difference unfortunately. I'm stuck, I really don't know what it is. Could it be the water pump? How can I check to see if it's working? Cheers
  2. That would make sense because the top hose is getting hot (now that I replaced the thermostat anyway) so that sounds like what I should do. I certainly hope it's not the head gasket, these things are impossible to get into. Do you guys have to remove the engine to do certain common jobs? Thank you very much, I'll let you know how I get on.
  3. Hi guys, I have a W plate Pug Expert E7 taxi (I know it's not a Citroen but the Pug forum is crap!) that I'm converting into a day camper but it's proving to be a pain in the arse. The temperature gauge suggests that it never goes above 70 degrees and takes ages to reach that too. However, it appears to be overheating as the coolant is spraying out of the reservoir tank lid. I replaced the lid and thermostat but there is no change. Does anyone know what's happening here? My diagnostic tool is mirroring the temperature gauge so hopefully that's ok. Hope someone can help me because I'm stumped! Thank you
  4. Hi everyone, I hope I'm not going to by lynched but I have a Pug Expert but the Citroen community is much more keen to talk shop so I was hoping that you'd accept me as one of your own? :P I have used forums in the past and they have provided me with a fountain of knowledge and I'm sure this will be no different. I am always happy to pass on any advise that I have learned on the way as well. Now fingers crossed someone might be able to advise on my current crisis! Thanks in advance, Col
