i had the same problem with my 03 estate you need to take the mechanism apart and grease it. its most probably partially seized if not it will eventually just stop.

Hi lads and ladies, im new to this forum, So here goes ive stripped the two rear arms but i cant get the new plastic spacertubes to go into the arms ive read coastlines old post on fitting several times. im wondering do i have to heat or trim back the arms or spacers all other parts are correct size.
