Hey guys, I've noticed a buzzing noise coming from the top of the engine on my 1.6 HDI after being switched off, it lasts for around 30 seconds. Anyone else have this is it normal?

It's shows the mileage but not the speed.

I've tried a BSI reset no luck, the tachometer engine temp fuel gauge still works, speedometer worked fine before. The mileage went from 50k to 180k good thinking Paul that could be a problem with insurance I didn't think of that. I have a feeling the donor vehicles ECU must of had a problem with the speedo.

Hey guys, I replaced the ECU BSI Key, in my mk2 Berlingo because I had BSI failure everything works fine apart from the speedometer. Did I also need the speedometer from the donor van aswel?

Just an update got her back boosting properly,not a daft question mikelane about the fuel filter. But a new turbo solenoid fixed the problem very pleased.

Ahh I see thanks for that, I will get her plug in this week and see what boost pressure I'm getting.

It's a MK2 M59 75bhp without DPF,i take it as a rough guide that at full boost in 3rd gear I should be looking at 0.9 bar?

When I bought the van first thing I did was remove the sump and clean the engine pick up,i also removed the little metal filter on the oil pick up pipe (bango bolt) going to the turbo.Im not getting any fault codes all pipe are fine and I cannot hear any leaks.

Hey guys, does anyone know the standard boost pressure for a 1.6 HDI? Reason I ask is that my Berlingo van Is dead slow lately can barely feel the turbo kick in i dread going up hills now. Don't get me wrong she wasn't built for speed but it used to lug it's weight around nicely.

That explains why I'm pulling my hair out trying to find it, thanks will get these checked out!

Hey guys speedos not working on my 2007 1.6 HDI MK2 Berlingo and I'm trying to find the speedo sensor but it really has got the better of me I just can't find it! I've looked all over the gearbox and the only sensor I can find is the reverse light switch. Anyone know where it is located? Many Thanks

No tensioner fitted at all on my 1.6 HDI the old belt has to be cut off and the new one stretch fitted on.
