Thank you for your help! Could you clarify what switch it was that had the dirt in to keep the radio on?

I have a 2012 C1 and I have a recurring problem of my stereo not turning off. Like most cars, it's supposed to turn off when the key is taken out, but it's stopped doing that and I have to male sure it's turned off every time I leave the car and I'm also worried it could drain my battery as it's on all night. I've only had the car for 5 months and this has happened a few times now and often sorts itself out. However, this time it still won't turn off. I had a black box for my insurance fitted in a few months ago and I never had this problem before. I have an engineer from the insurance company coming out to check it but it's costing me a fair amount of money and if it's not their fault, it'll cost me more to get it fixed. I just wanted to ask if this is a common problem on C1s and whether it can be fixed easily?
