Thanks Paul, resetting the service indicator did the trick. Turns to have been as simple as the windscreen wash bottle needed topping up. But I didn't know I had to reset the service indicator. I was beginning to think it was something more serious. Thanks again

Hi, my first problem with my new C3 1.4 diesel after only 2300 miles. SERVICE light has come on permanently. Not flashing or blinking, on all the time! Serious problem? The owner's manual suggested it could be low windscreen wash level. Topped it up with approx 3 litres screenwash. Damn SERVICE message still on. I can't believe it needs a service after only 2300 miles! Any ideas welcome
