  2. Can you retrofit roof rails to a 2004 MK1 C5 estate is the roof already fitted for them mine has plastic covers on the roof channels anyone any ideas if so i need a pair of roof rails i already have the cross bars from another car hence needing the rails

Well as the repairer is on holiday i went the same way as you and soldered the wires main thing seems to be the original part used to melt the wires in the connecter hence to modification my plug was a bit burnt so hence the change the one coastline refers to is climate control so no good on LX or lower end models with the three knobs

  6. main problem you will have is limited access and getting the injecters out they sieze in you cant get the rocker cover or the head off till the injectors are out first. place on ebay will remove them at £50 per injector plus call out fee it's 200 ton hydraulic press job yours may come out only way is to try to remove them not sure about workshop manuals haynes do a C5 one for 2.0 hdi but not the 2.2 best of luck if you want another C8 my 2006 is for sale as ive down sized to a C5
