  1. Hi Paul Very sorry for the delay in response to your very kind assistance. I have had it checked out and (very annoyingly!!) found out that there is a fault leading back to the control unit located on the steering column. This "complete" unit literally controls all of the lights, wipers and computer functions so therefore is also responsible for the operation of the fog lights. Guess what???!!! Yep, it has to be completely replaced as the single fog light fault is impossible to identify!! I was quoted £220 + VAT for the part alone :-( Ridiculous. Lucky for me I have a mate who has simply hard wired an illuminated switch to the rear fog lamp that now sits on the dash so that I can turn the rear fogs on and off at will. This was presented for MOT retest and passed no problem! Just thought I would post this in case anybody else comes across a similar thing Thank you very much for your help Kind regards John
  2. Thanks Paul really appreciate your time. Unfortunately the warranty is up but I will look at your recommendations. Thanks again John
  3. Hi All hope you can help I failed my MOT yesterday on inoperative rear fog lamps. The lamps have obviously been checked and are ok. There is no light illuminating on the dash when the stalk switch is turned. Yes, I have had the main lights on when trying to do this. Can anybody point me in the right direction please Thanks in advance
  4. Hi John Many thanks for getting back to me sorry for late response. Yes, I did follow these instructions. Unfortunately, things have got progressively worse and now I have a van that won't start at all with all manner of warning lights lit up!! Not good At a total loss really, so much so that I've had to book it into the dealership for diagnostics! Something, I fear, that is going to prove very costly, possibly too costly for me :-( Any pearls of wisdom will be greatly received at this juncture Thanks again for getting back to me John
  5. Hi All This morning my wife tells me that the windscreen wipers are going on my Dispatch van (2012 Enterprise 1000) and both the side lights and main beam lights are on!! The key is safely in my pocket and I didn't leave the lights on!!?? The van started ok and I got to work with no isuses with everything electrically working fine on the vehicle. When I stopped and removed the ignition key, making sure the lights were switched off, I waited a few minutes just to see what would happen and lo and behold the wipers started going and the lights came on again. Weirdly I found out that when I either opened or shut the van door the problem stopped!! Eventually I decide to disconnect the battery for obvious reasons. Reconnected the battery at home time and van started fine. I've arrived home and when I switched off there was a funny "buzzing" noise coming from the fuse box area under the bonnet? The wiper/light problem is still there ie they keep coming on for no reason!!! Can anybody explain what's happening here please and/or point me in the right direction to get it sorted?? Thank you very much in advance John
