  1. Thanks Paul, I'll have a look at those Your namesake on the French Car Forum managed to get me VIN info, and strangely the car left factory non-dpf. So in a way thats good news, no eloys, blocked dpf issues. Waiting for parts to arrive to refurb turbo. Had a bash at fitting aftermarket dab radio last night, gave up before my paitince did  I'll have a try another day. Even with iso adapter leads, it's a pain! Thanks again for your help, I'll keep you posted. Mark
  2. Hi Paul Thanks for the info. I'll have a look at the doser valve, see what it's doing and I'll have a look at the tailpipe. I was intially trying to work out if a whole turbo replacement would be required or I'd get away with a CHRA, but from what I've heard a CHRA cartridge would be fine and a fairly simple job. I'll sort out the oil lines while I'm at it. I'd read somewhere else engine code 9HY is non-dpf, 9HZ has a dpf, but don't qoute me on that. As far as I can tell there are no hoses going to the cat/dpf unit. My thinking was that previous owner(s) being dodgy (as the pics show) have possibly put the cat from a different car,as it looks more like the unit on my fiances Picasso 1.6 HDi (92) Exclusive. Thanks again for your help, And Merry Xmas Mark
  3. Hi folks, great Forum. I need to pick some brains, I have a 2006 Citroen C5 1.6 HDi 110 (Non-FAP, I think??) Design. Bought from an Independent dealer a short time ago and has a multidude of issues. Initially brakes were hopeless, and engine wasn't pulling as I thought it should. After going back several times and getting nowhere, I made a claim through the Credit Card company. To cut along story short (PM if you want the full story), brakes sorted, but still left with engine issuses. Done the usual, good service, check pipes etc Left with the following, see photos: Turbo blades damaged, but no blue smoke or significant end float. Possibly damaged by flaking insulating tape that was used in place of proper rubber sleeve. Double throttle body unit has only one plugged in. The other is unplugged and I can't find another stay plug anywhere. Ran the Lexia on it and only issue thrown up was glow plugs? Any thoughts or pointers anyone
