  1. Hello I did it on mine. I just adjusted the sensor on the sway bar, untill the ride hight looked sensible
  2. Hi Paul Think you for the reply 🤗 I have tried pushing down the corners, maybe the back corners feel hard. But will go down and up. I have been thinking of getting a set of four spheres from an mk2 C5 H3 non + without the sport button. Thinking it will be softer. Anyone tried this?
  3. Hello all How can you check if the spheres are ok on an mk3 tourer? I feel that mine is to hard, most of the time. Could it just be stuck on the “sporty†setting, how to check this? Does anyone have a diagram of the valves and oil lines in the H3+? Also, why does the mk3 have an ekstra sphere in the back, compared to the mk2? (Two in the middle) Thank you to n advance Brian
  4. Hello 😉 My car I acting strange. Sometimes the transmission shifts perfectly good. Sometimes it shifts at to high revs when cold, sometimes it shifts to 4th gear normally, but then emiadiatly to 5th at very low revs. Sometimes it shifts a little hard. Very rarely it seems to forget to engage the clutch after a gear change, and the engages the clutch hard. Has happened maybe five times in a month. Could this be a valve body issue? I have managed to get a new valve body from someone who bought it Mew for 1180£ but did ended up not needing it, for 230£ 😉 Would there be any sense in changing it? Or does it sound like a different issue?
  5. The video :-)
  6. I have now changed the oil. I followed a step by step i found in a Peugeot forum, but cant seem to find now. I also followed this video. First i drained the oil, approx 2,5 liters. Then i filled in 3 liters of new oil, and went for a short drive, on this short drive, i felt that the transmission was better than before. Than i drained the oil again, and this time i filled in 4 liters of new oil (because that was the amount i had, i figured it would not damage the transmission, and maybe more new oil would be mixed with the old. Than i whent for a drive, and the shifts where noticably harder. I than drained the excess oil from the small drain screw, and put everything back together. I then tried to use lexia to reset the oil wear counter, but i could not figure it out. When i pressed the read button it showed 109110. Does that mean that the oil was las changed at 109110km ago? that the car had done 109110Km when it was changed? When i pressed the write button I had to put in a value. I tried 0, as in changed 0km ago, and then i tried 158000 as in changed at 158000Km. It would not accept either? What to do. When i first opened the smal drain screw approx 0,25 to 0,5 liters drained out. So when i as the last step in the oil change open this screw, will that not mean that now there is 0,25 to 0,5 liters of oil less in the transmission then before i changed the oil? It seemed like the shifts where smoother on the drive after the first oil change where there was approx 0,5 liters more than when i started? It drives ok now. But... Shift from 1 to 2 is smooth as butter 2 to 3 is ok 3 to 4 is maybe a bit less smooth 4 to 5 is a little hard at times, it even gives a small judder in the car. When it changes to 6, it is ok, but when I drive with little enough throttle that it changes to 6 at around 70km/h with allmost no throttle it makes a slight whineing sound, if i give more throttle or just go more than 80km/h the whine dissapears comepletly. Any idea what causes this? Sorry about the long messy post. any answers are apreciated :-)
  7. It was 10£ per liter
  8. Tsk tsk... I called Citroen again. They also got the vin last time. This time they spent 20min with me on hold to find out that because my car is euro 5 it needs to be 3309 😮 And they wanted 30£ per liter 😮😮. I got some Liqui Moly ATF Top Tec 1800 elsewhere. It says "Aisin Warner AW-1" on the bottle ðŸ‘
  9. Hello I would like to change the oil in my auto transmission. I called the Citroen dealer, and they said to use this. http://catalog.lubricants.total.com/en/products/0dd/FLUIDE-AT-42 Is that correct, or should it be this? http://www4.total.fr/asia-oceania/malaysia/ProductData/B2C/Gear%20&%20Transmission%20Oil/Fluidmatic%20MV/TDS%20TOTAL%20FLUIDMATIC%20MV_1208-product%20spec.pdf
  10. I live in Denmark, and here we do not have vtr. Mine is a Comfort, In Denmark we have: Attraction, Dynamique, Comfort, Seduction and Exclusive. In order of price
  11. 2010 2.0 HDI 163 Auto
  12. Mine is not an exclusive, and it has electric handbrake.
  13. And it is true ðŸ‘. The Electric handbrake has two settings. Normal and maximum, maybe the person testing it only tested normal?
  14. Do you know about this: Maximum application If necessary, you can utilise maximum application of the parking brake. It is obtained by means of a long pull on control A, until you see the message “Maximum parking brake application†and a beep is heard. Maximum application is indispensable: In the case of a vehicle towing a caravan or a trailer, if the automatic functions are activated but you are applying the parking brake manually. When the gradient you are parked on is variable in its effect (e.g. on a ferry, in a lorry, during towing). Note: In the case of towing, a loaded vehicle or parking on a gradient, turn the front wheels towards the pavement and engage a gear when you park. After maximum application, the release time will be longer.
  15. Thank you :-)
  16. Hello again. Is the general feel really that the X7 is alot more problems than the old model? I drive around 4500-5000km pr month, would this be troublesome in an X7? I have seen around 8 different C5 tourer, and my feeling is that the ride is much more soft and comfortable than my 2005 C5 weekend. I have allmost selected a 2011 2.0HDI 163 Auto. Do you have some good ideas for some preventative maintenance to do when I get it?
  17. Please please. People... One reply at a time 😂
  18. Hello Does anyone know how to change the condenser on a 2005 2.0HDI?
  19. Hi Thank you for the reply. In Denmark it is not only the exclusive that has H3+ Most of the C5 for sale in Denmark is the "seduction" version, almost all of them has H3+
  20. Hello 😉 I am looking to replace my 2005 2.0HDI weekend with an mk3 tourer My current C5 has done 315.000km with no major problems. I am mainly looking for a 163 or 200hp diesel with automatic What can I expect in terms of comfort and reliability compared with my current C5? Cost of maintenance, rust problems and so on? Are there any big advantages or problems with either the 163hp or the 200hp? My current only has H3, is H3+ in the mk3 a big step up? Thank you in advance Brian Donati
  21. Hello :-) Current wheels are 215/55/16 winter tires on steel wheels. I checked the hydraulic oil level and there was 1 liter to little in. I topped it up, and now the pump runs normally and the ride seems a little softer. I still would like it to be a little softer, Doesn't anyone have experience with comfort spheres?
  22. Hello :-) I have a fear that the hydraulic pump for the suspension is not running as it should. When comparing it to a 2002 2,0i petrol. (this is a 2005 2,0 HDI) it seems to run slower and make less noise. How can I make sure that it works as it should?
  23. Hello :-) Thank you for the replies :-) Sorry about the late update, The rattle turned out to be the clutch release bearing and the dmf needing to be replaced. The clutch is still much to hard? I have replaced the wheels with some 215/55/16 and that improved the ride softness a lot. It is still not as soft as I would like it to be. I am considering comfort spheres. But when I try to find opinions of these I see a lot of negative opinions of them, mostly people saying that they just have a bigger dampening hole so that they mess with the dampening? Anyone on here have them?
  24. Hello all :-) Having just bought this C5 (2005 2,0 HDI) , I have a few questions. 1: The rain sensor is far to sensitive, is there anything that can be done? 2: There is a rattle when idling in neutral, it goes away as soon as the clutch pedal is slightly pressed. I am thing this is the throw out bearing? 3: The clutch pedal seems harder than normal. Could this be bearing related or worn clutch or something else? 4: I also have a 2002 C5 petrol with H3+, This one has H3 (no sport button) This 2005 C5 seems mutch harder than the 2002. Is that just the difference between H3 and H3+ or could it be the 18" wheels? The tires are 225/40/18 could it make a difference fitting 225/45/18 tires? The current tires a cheap china tires, maybe it will be better getting some premium tires. Brian Donati
