I have been told by my garage that my steering rack has a leak, and although it is not serious I would need the full rack replacing. I have been on the citroen service website and the part I need is 4000NE which is being priced around £700. I have looked on a few part sites and most do not stock the 4000NE but are saying the 4000FA is compatible with my car (which is only around £200). Just wondering if anyone had any experience with steering rack and would know if the part was compatible? Many thanks Richard

Yes they are the correct bulbs. I will try changing the fuse, but it the fuse had gone would it work for the first few minutes?

I have a 2004 3.0 V6 Estate and the rear passenger side bulb keeps going within 5 or 10 mins of replacing. Does any idea what could be wrong? I am going over to France with it on Satuday and worried of getting pulled over by the police if one of the bulds are out. Many thanks Richard

Font Of Knowledge, Yes this is the first time I have noticed since the pump was replaced. Looking on the internet the most common problem looks like the head gasket, when the garage did the belts and pump would they not have seen if the gasket was on the way out?

Just had this message pop up on the computer and checked and it looks like the radiator fluid is quite low. Had the cam belt and water pump changed in November and the fluid was replaced. I will top the fluid up, but is this something I need to worry about. I am to France in it in 2 weeks and just wondering if I should get a garage to look at it before I go? Thanks Richard

Does anyone know how to stop the mirrors automatically folding in when the car is locked? They didnt used to but I have messed on with something, now they do. The passenger side isnt working properly and is just making a clicking noise, and I would rather just keep them out if I can. Thanks Richard

My car was in for a service yesterday and when it was raised the rear suspension was leaking. The mechanic had a look and has told me the hydraulic suspension cylinders need replacing. He rang the Citroen dealership in Jersey and they advised it would be about six weeks to get the parts (part number 527272 and 527271) and they were quoted at around £150 each. I have had a look on the usual car parts sites I use and it looks like UK sites dont stock them. I have found on them on Russian and Ukraine sites but am reluctant to order. Can anyone recommend where I might be able to get these parts?

I have recently bought a 2003 V6 Exclusive Estate and have just found the CD Multi Changer under the drivers seat, but the magazine is missing. Does anyone know the model number for the Magazine?

It doesn't appear to be moving on the runners, and you can't move it when no one is sat in the seat. It only drops down and back a bit when someone sits in it, are there springs underneath?

I have just purchased a 2003 C5 Exclusive and there is a problem with the passenger front seat. All the electrics work however when you sit in it the seat slides down and back about an inch and doesn't seem to lock. It is quite dangerous as if some one is sat in the seat and the car brakes the seat jers forward. Anyone had any similar issues or would know what the problem is?
