  1. Hi, Our C3 Picasso doesn't have "roof bars" fitted and I've always liked the look of them. Does anyone know what the official factory-fitted bars are called? Whenever I try Googling I'm bombarded with thousands of after-market roof-rack style bars that fit on to the existing "roof rails" and go across the car. The things I'm talking about are the factory-fitted bars which go along the car's roof. Presumably Citroen won't supply these direct or if they did then they'll be a fortune? Best bet will probably be cars being broken for spares I guess. Thanks, Steve
  2. Fantastic information, thanks Paul. I'll try the insurance co. first and see what they say but if not, it's a project for Saturday. Cheers, Steve
  3. Hi, I need to replace the broken glass in my front passenger side door - the main part, not the small quarterlight. Can anyone comment as to how straightforward this is likely to be please? In the past I've stripped down a Megane door, removed the glass and replaced the electric window mechanism... But I had a Haynes manual for that, at the time. :-) Thanks, Steve
  4. Hi, I'm not an expert...thus the question. :-) My 16V 2005 C3 1.4 HDI diesel is currently in the garage following starting problems. The diag code is showing low fuel pressure and, having checked the pump itself and some other tests the guys suspect that the Fuel Pressure Regulator might be at fault. But they say that the regulator can't be replaced on its own and I need to fit a new rail at the same time? Does this sound correct? eBay and other places seem to list a "Common Rail Fuel Pressure Regulator" on its own and looking at the picture it gives the impression that it "just" screws in? http://goo.gl/qgJ3MZ Any advice gratefully received. Thanks, Steve
  5. Brilliant, thanks Paul. Off to the local dealer at lunchtime. Cheers, Steve
  6. Hi, Having only just become a C3 owner I'm really enjoying it so far. (2005,1.4 Diesel, Desire) My only complaint is that the FM radio seems a bit 'deaf' even on national BBC stations that are fine in our other car. The radio appears to be factory-fitted, it's an Fm / CD unit made by Clarion and works with the steering column controls. Examining the roof top aerial (please see attached photo) it doesn't seem in fantastic condition so I was considering replacing it. My first question is; what's the knack to removing the existing aerial please? I didn't want to force anything and break it. Also whilst rumaging around in the back of the car my five year old managed to uncover a pair of little McDonalds finger puppets and.... a car aerial! I have no way of contacting the previous owner so wondered if anyone here knew what it was? Could it be that they too bought it as a replacement for the existing aerial, but couldn't manage to fit it? It looks to be brand new. Thanks in advance, Steve
  7. Brilliant, thanks for all the information Paul, Much obliged. Steve
  8. Hi, We're looking to purchase a 2003-2006 C3 with traction control. Trouble is I'm not sure how to confirm whether it's fitted in cars we look at. Would there be a switch, light, button or other way could use to tell? As I understand it traction control was never standard on a C3, but only available as option? Thanks in advance. Steve
