  1. I called my local Citroen dealer and they said my car is out of warranty and I won't be able to get the spring replaced for free :(... oh well...
  2. Yes the left side is broken (top part of the coil is broken). I didn't check thoroughly when I bought this car from a private seller last month :(. The car is 8 years old and I'm the third owner, does it still applicable? Do I have to go to the where the first owner bought the car or can I go to any local Citroen dealer service department?
  3. Thanks Johndouglas, I'll check it out. Yes I have been told the same thing, it is best to change both sides so I bought 2 springs...cost me 200 quids :(
  4. Hi all, I need to replace the front suspension spring but I coudn't find the parts in Europarts. I need to buy it from the main dealer and it is expensive. I've already purchased the parts because I just want to get it replaced ASAP so my question just for curiosity, is there anywhere else I can buy the suspension spring other than the main dealer, just in case in a couple of years it happens again? I have been told that Citroen parts are not easy to find (other than from main dealer), is it true? :( Thanks...
  5. Do you know if Citroen will give compensation if the belt breaks earlier than what it recommends? I highly doubt it but just curious....
  6. Thank you Johndouglas, that removes a bit of my worries..I don't think I'm going to change the belt yet, maybe at least wait until it reaches 80,000 miles.
  7. Hi all, I just bought a 2008 C4 Grand Picasso 1.6 Hdi 110Bhp. The mileage is around 61,800..quite low but my friend recommended me to change the timing belt..I checked the manual it recommends the timing belt to be changed at 150k (normal), 120k(severe) or 10 years. I thought I don't have to change the timing belt because the mileage is still low but my friend just had me worries now haha...is it wise to change the timing belt after 8 years, 2 years before the recommended...has anyone ever change their timing belt before the recommended time? I just don't want change it if it's not necessary...the original timing belt must be very high quality if it can last 120k miles or 10 years....but at the same time there is this worry at the back of my head..and it's bugging me...urghhh....
  8. Hi all, I'm Wan living in Aberdeen. Just bought a 2008 C4 Grand Picasso 1.6 Hdi 110BHP Diesel and just want to introduce myself before I start asking any question :D . I was looking for an MPV to replace my old zafira and the reason I bought the C4 because when I googled the best MPV 2014/2015 the C4 grand picasso came out on top haha...must be a good MPV..and the price is not as high as a Volkswagen Touran for the same age...so why not try Citroen this time :D:D..
