  1. Hi all, When I remove the keys from the ignition on my C2 GT, the engine keeps running. The headlights remain on, although the rear ones do not. The dashboard lights also stay illuminated and the only way to ensure these are off, is to disconnect the battery. When i have the engine running, to actually turn the engine off i have found that pressing the brake pedal seems to cut it out. This works although within 5 - 10 seconds the dashboard lights then light up again. I have searched and searched the internet and currently have reasons to think it may possibly be something to do with the ignition switch. I have been to the local scrap yards and found a possible replacement although the switch and cables are for the C3 model not C2. The key is required to release the ignition barrel allowing the switch and cables to be released and the scrap yard does not have said keys. Is there anyone who could possibly be able to advise me on what to do, or even how to remove the switch. I have attached a couple of photos showing the stage i have got to in removing the switch. The main problem is extracting said switch through the barrel. Thank you in advance for any attempts to help me with this topic. Thanks, Calum K.
