It rattles badly when it's idling, or on low revs. or when I'm pulling away etc.

I think my cat. converter has now gone in my 99 xantia. Is there a quick fix, or is this a garage job?

I've recently bought a 99 Xantia that used to have a multi changer in but not any more. So I bought a Citroen Stereo cassette in mint condition off e bay. Everything works fine but I can't get it to work with the steering wheel controls. Am I missing something? Obviously I've connected it all up correctly I think and there is a seperate connecter etc. in there for these controls.
