I spoke to a specialist about getting the keys recoded and he told me that he felt it was the bsi that had failed and told me to start there.

I bought as a immobiliser fault one but guy who had it didn't seem to have a clue just said he thought it was immobiliser fault. Diagnosis unable to clear faults going to have a go over the next couple of days.

OK thanks. Are these common issues.

It's a brand new battery and I have tried to reset bsi but had no luck. The Bsi doesn't seem to be letting anything communicate and is locked? Making me think the bsi has failed.

Hi all I have a 53 plate C8 2.2hdi. I have had diagnostics done and loads of faults have been identified but are unable to clear. Car will not start but will run on easy start. The faults range from hazard lights to air con, interior lights etc. Also immobiliser fault. Technician said that it seem to be the bsi. Would it be easier to change the bsi ecu fuse box keys etc or is there anything else that I should know. I have also tried the reset but windows will not go down. Also bought new battery for it incase voltage was not being achieved.
