  1. This is really off, fitted a used regulator to my right rear door of my c5 mk1 estate.Part number matched to unit i took off. Fitting went smoothly but things went a bit odd when operating the rear window, when i press the button to put window down it stops with about 4 inches to go,(white plastic glass holder right down to door frame bottom),then when i put window up it goes right up smoothly but returns back down again about 4 inches and stops, acts like a window would do when it has a pinch facility(stops if your heads sticking out the window!)when it reaches the top. This put me in a blind panic as heavy rain was due,i had to simultaneously put up rear window from the front door, then pull the multiplug at the rear when the rear window reached the top!Which was fun! ;-)Anyone experienced this?
  2. I setup a virtual drive yesterday and installed official version of windows xp on it,i installed lexia(took an eternity) and eh?it simply vanished! ;-) The diagbox installation i done went ok,until i actually tried to use it!it accepted my vin,rpo number etc but when i pressed on lexia tab(or scantool)neither would open up,it just returned to the lexia-scantool screen. I'm starting to get a sinking feeling about this and starting to blame the car socket itself? As i've tried with the diagbox,my local garage kindly tried to use their software also but it wouldn't connect/talk with the ecu and open up the software. I'm going to yet another garage today who have specialised in French cars for years,so i'm guessing here his hair should be quite grey, and he'll be quite withdrawn and pale looking! ;-)
  3. Ok,uninstalled and re-installed software and now im getting as far as having it connected to car, chosing Citroen, then c5,then putting in vin number and rpo?Rpo is one of two numbers on the A post pillar,i've tried both! It 'seems' to take these then on screen i get the option 'Lexia' or 'scantool',i press either and it just recycles back to the same screen,Lexia or scantool?Anyone and ideas? Incidentally there's a really good, straight instruction guide on youtube by a diagnostics company, worked a treat. However he mentions nothing of updating it?Maybe last step does this, where it says 'robbed'and says internet update.
  4. Managed on 4th attempt to get initial install done,to the point yoy have to choose Citroen or Peugeot, that was fine, but when i chose 'c5' it came up an error,in French(despite choosing Englush as language)The error said erreur de chargement de cellule?
  5. So,where is fuse block b2?Even the handbook doesn't know! ;-)
  6. Got as far as mounting the image to an iso then it started to install then stopped, some log file error came up.This is so annoying.Tried installing the lexia 3 instead of the diagbox and I'm just getting these log file errors, psalance log files or something?
  7. Just received Lexia 3 package from Ebay.Im running windows 10 and so far I've twigged its going to have to be run in some kind of compatibility mode to run this software.I emailed the seller about this Windows 10 issue and after previously reading its the Lexia 3 45 I have to install, the Ebay seller tells me it's Diagbox I need to install?i don't know where in the hell to start, anyoneh old my sweaty little hand and lead me through where to start? Thanks.
  8. Thanks,i'm really careful when I work on things so I don't think I disturbed anything enough to cause the tailgate warning light to come on the dash? One thing I want to get straight,so if there is a warning that the tailgate is open on the dash, will this confuse the central locking?Central locking was perfect before and there were no warning lights. All I did was use a scotchlock like the instructions say on the yellow wire on the top brown connector, gaffa taped the wire down to the bottom solder joint,i didn't even go as far as soldering the wire on,just fixed it against the original solder join and tested the switch, that was it!!
  9. Well what a joyous, fun packed day that was.Tried to fix rear estate glass opening switch. Followed everything to the letter,it didn't work,so,took wire i had carefully gaffa taped all the way round the glass off and said sod it,so what glass doesn't open. Now to the fun part, and considering i didn't disconnect any block connectors while doing this job, there is now a beep everytime i press lock on the remote 'and' the car doesn't lock!!(although it sounds like its locking)and for an extra Brucie bonus there is a warning on the dash going along the road that my tailgate is open??Which it isn't!! I then found out if battery in keyfob is going down there is a beep to warn you, thought maybe that beep i have newly acquired after failed window fix was jyst the battery in the fob?Renewed it,no difference. Oh yes and the initialising thing in the handbook that tells you what to do after new fob battery doesn't work! ;-)Help!
  10. Is it possible to disable tyre pressure warnings with Lexia on my mk1 c5 2.0hdi?I was quite prepared to buy new sensors, but i wasn't quite prepared that they had to be matched to the car and excited, whatever that is?
