thank you all for your input ,im trusting the seller when he says it was a complete key set, the odd thing about this car is that the previous bsi and ecu showed similar symptoms, perhaps a trip to the dealership for a wiring loom integrity test might be simpler in the long run, sometimes feels the more i fiddle the worse it gets. cheers you guys are awesome. :)

thank you so much for your help and input Paul, i think i must first get hold of the PIN and move on from there, my actual data : fuel pressure measured: 259 bar , crank speed 160 rpm I know i had problems with my original BSI because the head lights would not work and my ECU kept the cooling fan permanently on. i inspected the engine wiring loom for damage any ideas what the easiest way is to get the PIN code? i will post updates as to my findings.

good day all , i'm new to the forum and am desperately seeking advise, my Citroen C3 1.4HDI has not run in 3 years , the injectors will not pulse, i purchased a key set in the hope that this would resolve the problem I have a Lexia and the only permanent fault is with the ECU "Status of ECU" ECU locked , ECU Matched ,awaiting response from BSI I don't have the customer code of the BSI-ECU set would this be needed to get the ecu unlocked many thanks in advance any help would be much appreciated
