Stiff

On 3 occasions I have had near catastrophic experiences. Once while stationary and twice whilst driving our automatic gearbox C3 there was a very short complete electrical failure. This stopped the engine and resulted in loss of power, steering and brakes. When stationary this was obvious but I was fortunate to avoid a serious accident when while going downhill. The faults occurred over an 18 month period. The car is fully serviced. The car has been put on a Citroen garage computer resulting in a "no fault detected" report. A further check at a Peugeot garage produced the same result. A third Citroen garage just said that the fault was impossible. Has anyone had a similar experience? Has anyone any idea as to a possible cure for this?
