Thanks Paul. Unfortunately, there is an issue with the car stalling at idle when the engine is warm. From a bit of research it looks like it could be the fuel filter or oxygen sensor. Any thoughts?

Thanks for the welcome and the helpful response Paul. I did download one of these workshop manuals that had the diagram you mentioned for my VIN, see image attached. Looking at this I assumed that the fuel filter would be on the outside but no joy. I have dropped the fuel tank completely and it's is no where to be see. The fuel pump only has one pipe coming out not two as in the diagram. Any other thoughts would be very welcomed.

Folks, could anyone tell me where the fuel filter is located on C8 2006 petrol 2.0l 16v ,please? I am struggling with the idea that it's in the fuel tank but I can't locate it. thank you.
