  1. quick update, it finally broke down on the mechanic so he could identify which fault code was first, it was as susspected the fuel rail pressure sensor, it would not restart, then we wiggled the sensor, started, been fine for a while now, awaiting new sensor to fit.
  2. Problem went away for a couple of weeks after the mechanic cleared the fault codes, came back with a vengence today! its a real puzzler, hopefully I can get to the bottom of it.
  3. Thanks rookie 2 will give it a try
  4. Hi its the 1.6 75bhp deisel, serviced last month, I am checking that the fuel filter was changed then, I think it was. Van has done 98k, I am leaning towards changing the fuel pump and sensor unless you can advise one way or the other.
  5. Hi, when it first happened, a year ago, my mechanic read the computer, cannot remember the code but it was a low fuel pressure fault but the pressure was fine so he re-set the computer and we left it at that but now it has started again, exactly as central1 had it. Was hoping for any pointers for my mechanic as to whether its a sensor fault or fuel pump fault or which is most likely. Thanks for the prompt reply
  6. Hi, I have a 200 berlingo doing exactly the same as yours, did you resolve it? Any advice where to start appreciated.
