My 71 DS21 has been parked in my garage since 1986 and I finally moved all the boxes an stuff off so I can work on it. The drivers side hood release works, but the passenger side does not. Any hints on how to open the hood? I need to replace the engine so I can resume driving it. Any help will be appreciated.

Many years ago I took it on a yet to be opened Interstate and stepped on that accelerator. At 100 MPH I took my hands off the steering wheel - STRAIGHT as ab arrow. Took it up to 134 and still had something left. Got 2 speeding tickets in one week for shifting into second gear in my town! It has a 5 speed manual! Soon will replace motor with one from my 1968 DS 21 Pallas purchased NEW in 68 for 00.00. It rusted out in 84 so I stripped it. While I was working, I put the 71 on hold since I had my 1972 Citroen SM to drive.Pic to follow soon. View Vehicle
