I don't know how to edit my post, so am "answering" it.....I have just discovered that the facility is only available when a suitable device is plugged into the socket, and my problem was that the system didn't like my MP3. I plugged in my smartphone and up came the "aux" icon.

Hi. 2014 C4 Grand Picasso Exclusive: I cannot find how to connect the "Aux." facility to play an MP3. In the Media screen only "DAB", "FM" and "AM" are in bold; with the auxilliary icon in shadow. I had the suggestion that I should find the "Auxilliary volume" screen and may find that it is in the "off" setting, but it was actually set to "Max". Can anyone offer me any help in switching on this facility? Thanks.
