  1. Hi argyll1, My first time on this forum too.Yours was the first post that I read, and I've today only just adjusted the throttle cable on 'er indoors 2.2 '52 plate C5! The pedal position was also too low, but it was the free play that made me want to adjust it in the first place. On the 2.2 the throttle sensor is under the fuse / management unit, nearside engine bay (next to bulkhead on battery side) To properly get to it I had to remove the black plastic covers, take out fuse holder and undo 2 10mm head bolts.You will now be able to move aside the plastic compartment covering throttle cable / pot. I had to move the adjusting clip a good inch + worth of notches, thers's still free play, but the pedal won't quite touch the stop now (that's what I wanted) and moved the pedal position back in line with the other pedals.
