Hi, I have bought the new clutch and preparing for the job by reading all the forums, and watching all the youtube videos I can, as I live in rural France and once I start the job I'll be without transport till I finish the job. Do I need to pull the driveshafts out of the hubs to get the shafts out of the gearbox, or can I pull the driveshafts out of the gearbox without removing the shafts from the hubs, once I have undone the bottom ball joints? You help will be appreciated. Cheers Noel

Hi there. The clutch on my 2009 C5 Tourer 98000 miles has started slipping when under pressure. I do have a warranty that covers the clutch but they are refusing to pay up saying it is wear and tear. Anyone any thoughts on the difficulty level for replacing it.

Hello, I have a C3 II 2010 VTR+ with a 1.4 hdi engine. It has currently done 89k miles. It is starting to get a little bit of clutch slip, it was a learner car up until 50k so it's probably due for a clutch. I'm a fairly competent DIYer so i'd like do give it a go myself. Has anybody done one of these and have any tips? Many thanks Will

I have a 2006 Aygo 1.0L petrol that had a new clutch last week. However, it developed an oil leak shortly thereafter. Just a few CCs a day. What concerns me is that it may be transmission oil which I can't easily top up. I want to go back to the garage, but I'd like an opinion on where the oil is coming from first - i.e. is it from a badly fitting/incorrectly installed seal during clutch installation or something else entirely. I have put up a picture here and would be very grateful for opinions. http://postimg.org/image/p8uvcplep/

My pride and joy may have to be put off the road just for a clutch cable. gear changing is getting increasing more difficult. Has anyone a spare cable ??? the car is otherwise perfect . Runs as new. Any solutions to this problem which I'm told is common- Can the cable be shortened and does this solve the problem. Has anyone solved this? Its seems ridiculous to put a perfectly good car off the road for what seems such a basic problem. Does Citroen HQ ever involve themselves with these queries ? HELP !

Hi all My first post here so hopefully someone can give some advice. I have a 2004 1.8 C5 and when pulling away the car feels like it is trying to stall almost like I am pulling away in 4th or 5th. The clutch does not seem to be slipping Thanks

Hi all, Me again So anyway, I drove from London to Hastings without a problem. Stopped the car to unpack our camping gear then went out of town to pick up some shopping. Again everything was fine. Coming back from the shops along a winding country road, got lost and ended up in some vineyard going down hill. There was no way of me being able to turn the car round so I had to reverse back up the hill. Smoke started appearing from under the bonnet so I stopped the car and checked under it, there was a burning smell then it stopped smoking out so I continued along this bumpy country road and

Hi, My C3 Pluriel (1.6, 2005) often takes a while to pick up when pulling away - so I put my foot down gently and there's a time lag of a second or so before it gets into geasr and pulls away. It's always been a bit like this but become worse recently. The Citroen garage have told me I need a new clutch anc clutch actuator (£588 and £1000 respectively). This is a scary bill for a car that's only done 17,000 miles, and I wonder if there might be any alternatives or adjustments that could be made? Or, if I just leave it, what are the risks? I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks, David
