Xsara Problem Please Help

Hi guys

I have a 02 ctreon xsara, the auto diagnostics light come on. It runs fine though, no problems, but the light remains on.

I read that it is usually the final emissions sensor, indicating the cat needs changing soon?

I heard if you turn the light off it usually will not come on again?

Is there any way of doing this?

I would take her to the grage but we hav just had our first child so times are harder than usual. Any help appreiciated.

Try disconnecting the battery for 30 minutes then reconnect and it should be OK
