Guest Marian47 Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 I own a Berlingo 2006 HDi 1.6 Multispace in Tenerife and only have the manual in Spanish. Could anyone please tell me the recommended mileage to change the cam belt in km please? Quote

tucker1 Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 TOOK MINE IN FOR 1ST MOT AND I ASKED THAT QUESTION TO CYTROEN DEALER. HE SAID 125000 MILES. SEEMS A LOT TO ME. I don't know if the deisel is different, but I think my handbook for the 1.6 petrol quoted 80k or 6 years. There's normally an age reference as well as mileage total. I changed mine at 6 years old with 70k in any event. Quote
Guest Tutchi Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 Histraight from my Maintenance Guide.Deisel 1.6HDi 16v - 150.000 or every 10 years (normal maintenance) 120.000 or every 10 years (severe maintenance)Severe being town running most of the time as I understand it.I think this figures should be halved on mileage and around 7 yearson time for peace of mind. Hope this helpsTutchi  These figures are in miles by the way. Quote
