Guest ibz_volcane Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 I have a 1994 zx volcane TD and ive noticed my offside rear tyre is hitting the inside of the bodywork (when it goes over bumps etc), though there is no noise from the N/S wheel.ive done a rough measure:distance from the outer wheel arch to the tyre: Offiside Rear: about 40mmNearside Rear: about 34 mm so the offside wheel is leaning in more. any suggestions to what the problem might be? Guest 16v zx abuser Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 hi there im a citroen mechanic sounds to me like one of your rear swing arm bearings has collapsed or possibly your stub axle could be bent(your rear wheel bearing runs on this)but unless the car has been handbraked into something this is unlikely-check your shock absorber if this is ok-i would go with the rear swing arm bearings Quote
