Xsara Vtr Coupe Electric Window Problem

Hello everybody, I've been a bit of a stranger round here, but I have an issue with the driver's side electric window on my 2001 VTR Coupe.

 

I would the window down today, but when I tried to put it back up there was a horrible sound and the window stayed put, so the girls got driven home from school with an icy blast on them (which they didn't appreciate :( )

 

I've taken the door panel off and had a look (and managed to get the window up manually, just hope it stays there) - it seems that the cable has come off some pulley arrangement on the back of the motor and got a bit mangled from what I can see, but it doesn't look as if the motor assembly comes out, cos it's riveted in :D The motor still whirrs when you activate the switch, but the window stays put and the cable gets even more mangled...... HELP!!!

Update - just in case anyone else has this problem, you have to replace the whole mechanism, and is a Citroen main dealer part only - I got quoted £225 inc vat!!!!

Thought f**k that, spoke to a local chap and he can get one and fit it for a shade over £200 (still a lot of wonga though, innit?). Guess I'll just have to keep it a bit longer after spending all this money on it :D
