C3 Won't Start

My C3 1.4hdi would not start after having completed a journey. It was identified as a starter motor problem but having been fitted with one it turns out this was not the problem. The diagnostic route was taken with the car not talking to the machine. It was then thought to be an electrical fault. Two garages and one main dealer later the car is still off road and problem still not solved. Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong. Its a 57 plate and never had anything wrong with it.

Mine wont start either! Ive been told its my fuel pump, because my start motor trying to start the engine but not turning over. 500 quid replacement!!!
