nn Posted April 25, 2003 Posted April 25, 2003 Has anyone else noticed the quirky little fault with the wipers. If you turn off the ignition whilst the wipers are still switched on, when you start up again they do not work - until you adjust the speed of the wipe. Does this happen to anyone else? Quote
organist Posted April 26, 2003 Posted April 26, 2003 This is because the automatic rain-sensing control unit needs to 'reset' itself. It is working correctly. Quote
nn Posted April 26, 2003 Author Posted April 26, 2003 Thanks, Organist. That explains things. However - I also read what you had to say about the rear wash-wipe when reversing (and have read about it in the hand-book) - but what do I need to do to get mine to work automatically when reversing? Hope you can help - this has been bugging me. Quote
cee3peeoh Posted April 28, 2003 Posted April 28, 2003 I put the wipers on to intermittent and then when selecting reverse the rear window wiper starts. hope this helps Quote
Guest Mark A Posted May 9, 2003 Posted May 9, 2003 Has anyone experienced this? Bright sunlight + unattended C3 = 'Unauthorised' operation of windscreen wipers (At some stage they do a single 'half cycle' and position themselves vertically (ish) on the windscreen ...) Quote
