BBC Watchdog, 201 Wood Lane, London W12 7TS or phone 020 8535 1000.

Citroen do no have a decent customer contact number, in fact they may not even know what the word customer means. The way most people on the forum get a response from them is by using the media or a lawyer. Even the dealers get little or no help from Citroen.

Maybe that is over cynical or maybe I have just read too many posts on this forum

DEMOMAN,

Citroen has not customer relation skills at all.You put a call into Citroen UK customer services.Yes sir someone will ring you back and it never happens!!.That goes for my Derby Dealer. The work shop manager was arrogant and could not wait to get rid of us.C1MILLSTONE

I have to say that my dealership (Croxdale Citroen) has been very, very good in all matters. The service manager has been a wealth of knowledge for easy fixes to avoid £££ costs that tie up his service bays for more important jobs.

I've actually figured out that he has saved me over the past two years about £1000 in labour costs alone Now that's what i call good customer relations. In return my whole family go there for servicing and parts now, even if it isn't a citroen and no complaints

I'm sorry that you are having problems m8 and i hope you get some resolution but we all must remember not to tar all dealers with the same brush. There are some really good ones out there too.

100% right. Citroen customer services are a complete waste of time. The dealers are generally similarly poor (in my experience).

I've been lied to, fobbed off and am still waiting for a call back from November 2006 regarding warranty work the dealer claimed they done (the spring recall) and hadn't. If I didn't have contacts in the trade I'd have had to stump up £400 for air-con repairs that I was repeatedly told were not covered by warranty. The dealer even told me "the air con isn't working cos you have it on a lot and it will have used all the gas up"!

I now use an independent specialist who was recommended to me and have had no problems at all since. In many respects the car is fantastic, but I doubt I'll buy another Citroen (no matter how tempting a new C4 HDi EGS is...)
