syrup Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 The C4 handbook recommends 98 RON, fuel page 119 Quote
Stuey Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 Mine are fine but i woud expect they should be after only 5 months of owning the car.I would expect mine to fine as mine is about a week newer than yours!! I think it might just be muck to be honest as I havent had chance to wash it since it came back from the crash repair centre... I will give that rain-X stuff a go if I see it anywhere I am going to Cituning on Thursday to see if they can fuel my power hungry needs...they have a stage 1 tuning kit, here it is. That is very tempting, I will have to get it priced up Quote
wozza Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 You have the 1.4 right? Not sure how tunable it is. I know the 1.6 is basically the same engine form the 106gti saxovts etc and as a result the amount of tuning for it is mental. Can see the otherside of 300bhp if i want a car i have to repair weekly...so not happening lol. Not entirely sure with the 1.4 though. Took my test drive in the 1.4 though seemed alright around town just needed a little pepping up. And syrup yep recommends 98ron in the book i know. Says on the cap as well 95 / 98ron. Quote
Stuey Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 I will see if I can blag some parts from various companies. Its looking good to that it will have a trial exhaust system and we will see what happens from there Quote
wozza Posted April 9, 2006 Posted April 9, 2006 Just bumping this up wondering if you managed to gt any freebie parts from companies for your C4 mate? Just be nice to know what cittuning etc said they could do with ya car. Quote
