c4door Posted March 22, 2006 Posted March 22, 2006 I've got the same problem - the dealer is offering me a 50% discount on a remote key but I'm holding out for a 100% discount! It 's a joke having to walk around a new 13K car to open the door then walk back to get in. People are laughing at Citroen. The dealer is trying to tell me that it is a standard all manufacturers are introducing. I can live with out the remote but not walking around the car. Why are people paying for another remote when they have already paid so much - this should be standard. Quote
stratos Posted March 22, 2006 Posted March 22, 2006 My VTS 180 came with 2 remote / folding keys as standard. £130 is what Alfa charge for a replacment key, £40 for key and £90 for programming it, so its not just a Citroen rip-off. Quote
wozza Posted March 23, 2006 Posted March 23, 2006 Its just cause the cars arent completely changed for the right hand drive market in frnace and most other countries the lock would be on the correct side. Just a way of cutting costs down. I dont think its that bad to be honest you will find a lot of cars are similar. Quote
