Guest balloo Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 If you can avoid Bewiser Insurance (the one with the owl on the tv advert) I complained to the complaints department no reply The quote they gave me was good Fully Comp, Protected NCD £100.00 excess great i thought so i payed it straight away, Docoments Arrived No Protected NCD and £500.00 excess phoned and spoke to someone who said he would correct the excess was lowered but i had to pay an extra £50 we stressed to him was everything covered now and he said yes. Another couple of days the new amended policy came and there was still NO Protected NCD on it Phoned again and was told we cannot add Protected NCD on to your policy but we have found another Insurer great But you will have to cancell this policy and start the new one OK says me But the agent says it will cost you £52 to cancell plus the new policy is an extra £20.00 as well. what a rip off I believe they gave the first quote without what we asked for so it would be low hoping we never noticed that the excess was higher and No protected NCD I put this too the complaints department who never replied to my email. Always said if you have to have insurance by law, then it should be run by the government, like road tax. Would put a stop to legalised scam system in place now  Quote
