Hi guys,

Looking for a few pointers... Anyone ever changed a suspension pump or opened the system in such a way they had to bleed the suspension system on a c5?

I notice there is a bleeder on the centre rear accumulator accessed from underneath, and one on the front centre accumulator that I can reach with a very long 3/8 extension, uni joint and socket from under the bonnet.

My question is.... What is the best way to get all the air out? I have replaced a suspension pump and I have a feeling not all the air is bleed out.

Thanks for your time, Cheers.

Hi guys,

Here is some factory info I found on the internet.

"Bleeding.

Apply a pressure of 0,5 bars in the LDS fluid reservoir (using tool: FACOM 920).

Start the engine.

Wait for the vehicle height to stabilise.

Place the suspension height control in the "HIGH"position.

Place the suspension height control in the "LOW"position.

Move the steering in both directions, from lock to lock.

Stop the engine.

Check that the LDSfluid level is between the minimum mark "b"and the maximum mark "a". "

Hopefully this may help someone in the future. Cheers.
