Guys. Has anyone noticed the seatbelt becoming slack, sometimes even needing it to be 'fed' back into the slot in the door column? I use the foldout bracket from the chair handle to stop me having to reach back, but i wouldnt have thought that should make a difference. Am going to get Citroen to have a look at it, just wondered if its a C4 coupe problem, or just mine.

i know what causes this and no it cant be fixed. next time you put your belt on look as see if the belt get down between the recliner part of the seat the handle to make it recline if it does and it gets loose afterwards causes the seatbelt to slacken.

What did it on mine i found out.

At the bottom of the seat the handle to make the seat recline you know the controller thing?

Sometimes the belt goes inbetween that and the seat. Then the seatbelt works its way loose as it goes it looses the belt off more and more.

Does in my case anyways.

Mine is very slow drawing itself back and time after time I am out of the door only to hear a rather loud "clunk" as I close the door onto a trailing seat belt - like the rest here - I thought it was "only me" however looks like Citroen have a very minor blip to look at.

i wonder, do Citroen Techno's look at these sites and learn from the day to day users?

Mines occasionally a bit slow but have not found it bad to be honest. Only thing i find annoying is when i fasten my self in and im driving along and suddenly it goes slack. Usually because of the reason i said earlier that the belt ends up getting stuck in the recliner control and working its way loose.
