Guest tinofapples Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 Hi there folks, I recently purchased a 2007 1.6hdi Berlingo van ex-An Post (Irelands postal service). For some reason (Safety I assume) they have the vans wired that as soon as the ignition is switched on the front lights come on and perhaps linked to that I'm not getting any reverse lights working(Not very clever). Now I've had a look at the fuse for the reversing lights and replaced it and also replaced the reverseing bulbs. I'm not too knowlegable with these things but don't mind getting my hands dirty and learning a wee bit through some guidance. I had a look at the fusebox under the dash and come across these two connectors wrapped around another wire but not connected to anything, anyone know what these might be and where they should be connected if at all: http://i251.photobucket.com/albums/gg316/tinofapples/Motors/CIMG0634.jpg Also these two connectors are lying idle in the engine bay, should they be ?? http://i251.photobucket.com/albums/gg316/tinofapples/Motors/CIMG0635.jpg http://i251.photobucket.com/albums/gg316/tinofapples/Motors/CIMG0636.jpg Any help or direction greatly appreciated :D Quote
Coco Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 The wiring looms used are not specific to a particular vehicle. There may be another variant that uses these unused connectors, but not yours. For the reversing lights check the switch Quote
