Guest AndyH83 Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 Hi Really hope someone can help me as I'm going insane. I'm having to remove and replace the rear brake pipe from the cylinder to the flexable hose because the nut at the cylinder has been rounded off. I can't undo the fly nut where the pipe meets the flexable hose. I have a size 11 fly not spanner and am bracing the nut on the other size with a suitable spanner. Its all been WD40'd up and left to soak but the nut will not undo, infact Ive started to bend the metal support its held to. Any hints or tips and or advice solutions are greatly appreciated. Guest Matt N Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 Have you actually used a proper brake pipe spanner? I say this because when I was doing this on my old ax I used a standard spanner and it rounded off. I then used a proper brake pipe spanner and it cracked it off with ease. Hope this helps Quote
