Mark Hannam Posted May 16, 2011 Share Posted May 16, 2011 Where is the EGR valve located on a C1 1.4 HDI 2006 model Ive checked with dignostics kit to find I have code p0403 readingThis is Exhaust gas recirculation circuit malfunction. MarkMy car 1.4 HDI 07 plate about 40.000 milesHi the EGR is at the back of the engine which is hard to reach,might need to dismantle plastic at front of windscreenand wiper motor to reach,my management light keeps going on and off 2 weeks at a time diagnostic says its this valve at fault but car drives ok ,not to worried at the moment until mot is due dec.its a job trying to get to it,best of luck.
