Mat Posted April 20, 2006 Posted April 20, 2006 Not as far as I know, if you want a five door it will have to be a hatchback. Perfectly happy with just the 3 doors :D Quote
barns Posted April 20, 2006 Author Posted April 20, 2006 that saloon looks ok from that picture but a bet its poor from back not for me!....Got a silver car at minute and would like a change this time round everyone seems to have had or got silver but c4 looks good in it.Just fancy some thing fresh but silver does have its advantages hides marks better than most Them wheels look smart on 5 door syrup.......... wozza Posted April 20, 2006 Posted April 20, 2006 There just the standard wheels on the VTR+ and VTS. I really want the wheels off the C6 though. Quote
hertsnminds Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 how come you got those wheels? My black 5 door VTR+ has those wheels, 17" Resolfen. Citroen site has the following wheels as standard styling specs: 5 Door LX & 3 Door VT - 15" full width 'Arromanche' wheel trims5 Door SX & 3 Door VTR - 16" 'Radicale' alloy wheels5 Door VTR+, 3 Door VTR+ & 3 Door VTS - 17" 'Resolfen' alloy wheels5 Door Exclusive - 17" 'Toka-Toka' alloy wheels Of the 4 wheel options I prefer the Resolfen although being 17" the cost of the rubber for them (when the time comes for new tyres) will not be cheap. wozza Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 When i looked last time those wheels werent available on the 5 door only the toka toka ones were im sure of it lol. But the resolfen wheels are the nicest looking just an absolute bugger to clean them. With regards to prices £118 a tyre if you want the same michelins back on there. Quote
ham's c4vts Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 sorry i didnt mean that silver is naff just when its colour coded all over it dont look right imo. just looks too plain Quote
Joeblunt Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 I think Citroen should do more base colours, for me the very best colour for a 3dr coupe would be a base red, like a sporty flame red now that would look wicked! B) I would like to see something really different like a coupe in three colours Red Roof & bonnet, then the bottom half in White & Blue, limited edition, 17" wheels, Privacy glass................................. B) Quote
Joeblunt Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 Heres something similar, its certainly different? B) http://www.citroenpicasso.org.uk/picasso/uploads/post-23-1145698398.jpg Quote
citroeneddie Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 Joe WRC 2007 Coupe in Solid Red, as said before. Quote
barns Posted April 22, 2006 Author Posted April 22, 2006 Just had a simular conversation with the sales rep at citroen garage. He also had to admit that the colour choice for the c4 isn't the best although he like me had favourites it's lacking a few more varieties of the same colours...... Wozza you were right the colour on the spec books is IRON GREY.it just depends on the light as to if it has a hint of a blue to it. Thats the colour we have gone for in a 5 door ordered today pick up in approx 3 weeks..................................... Quote
barns Posted April 22, 2006 Author Posted April 22, 2006 was between the two but think red suits the sportier versions best would have liked to have got a second hand ie 6months older model but higher spec but due to taxing purposes and work had to get newso got the 1.6 sx 5 door.had a red and a grey outside thought grey looked the better on that model....maybe next year B) ................ wozza Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 Yours an HDI or petrol? Shame you couldnt have got one of the slightly higher spec's but at least thats one thing all the C4's have fairly good specification you still get cruise control speed limiter air con etc as standard. Quote
ham's c4vts Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 this is what i meant by all colour coded, imo dosent suit the car http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2005-CITROEN-C4-VTR-...1QQcmdZViewItem Quote
wozza Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 Gone a bit OTT with the colour coding. the front looks wrong if its not black. Need some black to break up everything surprised the guy never did the lip spoiler on that on. I like the black and grphite trim on my car. Colour coding id just get my side strips done and then my B pillars done same as the spoiler is in that dark grey grpahite colour. Quote
syrup Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 Now I see what you mean, couldn't agree more, really ott. Quote
barns Posted April 23, 2006 Author Posted April 23, 2006 That front end looks sh*te,looks like a halfords special.................. Quote
