syrup Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 Who uses what to get a good result. Mine looks naff especially after a wash.I've tried Car Plan Original Black and their Black Trim Wax and also Auto Glym Vynil & Rubber Care, but it still looks motley. What do you recommend? Quote
barns Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 not sure the name but it was turtle wax 'something to black' did vectra before i sold it and never used anything on it before (door handles and beading strip at bottom of bumpers) but it came up superb with out buffing or anything even fetched bold tyres up :P Quote
wozza Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 I used that carplan wax stuff but theres a another product which is like a gel i think or something thats supposed to bring it back up really well. Will have to have a look on one of the detailing forums see what they recommend. Quote

daveyboy Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 I use Autoglym bumper care... the green gel. Works fantastic and lasts Quote
Welshguy Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 I use Turtle Wax's Back to Black...good finish if left on to dry and not wiped off...but doesn't last at all! Quote
