WLT Posted May 17, 2006 Posted May 17, 2006 People People, I need help, i think my car is cursed  I've now owned it for about 1 month and this is the 5th time a great heap of seagul has dropped its bowels all over my beloved car. Need help, or a gun. Right rant over, just had to vent some frustration, happened today on the way to work, now the car has to sit there all day covered in poo. Quote
wozza Posted May 17, 2006 Posted May 17, 2006 Wipe it off when you can bird crap is not good for paintwork lol. Heard of cases where its actually messed up the laquer. And know what ya mean though used to end up with a car covered in tree sap and bird ***oops*** when i lived at home. Not so bad now i live in the city centre now it just gets loads of thick black crap all over it which i think is from the diesel from all the busses going past it. Need to give my car a proper clean this week sometime ready for the car show want it to be spotless just a case of quick wash when I get there. Plus i need to do some more work on my boot build etc so its finished. Im just being lazy though i said to myself i was going to wash it 2 weeks ago lol. Quote
barnyg Posted May 17, 2006 Posted May 17, 2006 I've had many cars in my history but this is the worst for c**p. I've had the car less than 4 weeks and already been done 3 times. I can only remember it happening once in the last 3 years. The seagulls nust feel threatened by C4s! Quote
stu Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 I f****** hate seagulls! The worst was a 4 inch wide crap bang in the middle of the bonnet – I think the 'gull must have been for an indian or something. But it's not just the 'gulls – I was on the M6 yesterday and thought it was raining, but no, about 30 million files commited suicide on the front of my VT. The jetwash couldn't even shift the sticky l'il bastards! :) Ah well, I suppose that's what you get for buying a french car in the UK! Bloody zenophobes  Quote
billynibbles Posted May 19, 2006 Posted May 19, 2006 Amen to cleaning it off as soon as possible - I left some on a metallic silver Rover whilst on a camping holiday once, and the top lacqueur looked like crazy paving by the time I washed it off. I think birds must be getting bigger - a friend's Merc CLK 230 soft-top looked like a pterodactyl had dumped on it the other day - I just couldn't believe that a bird could take off with that 'payload'! Or perhaps maybe it couldn't and that was the problem! Moral: If a bird s***s on your car, don't invite her out again. Quote
barnyg Posted May 19, 2006 Posted May 19, 2006 In the words of Victor Meldrew - I do not beleive it! Sh*t on again outside my daughters house. Just had the car washed yesterday. Ho hum here I go again. Now 4 time in 4 weeks - any one want a C4? Quote
