mcdig1 Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 Hope it's not a pink un like yours :D   Quote
wozza Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 Dont think he needs any convincing, Looks like he bought one and he signed up over here. All i can say is good choice on the car. And were a lovely bunch over here. :D Quote
Stuey Posted May 27, 2006 Posted May 27, 2006 you are misguided my friend!! Oriental Blue is the way forward (if you can still get that colour that is!!) Quote
wozza Posted May 27, 2006 Posted May 27, 2006 No you lie! Im gonna have to go with wicked red. Of course im not biased. Then again I wasnt gonna buy a red one at first when i went into finalize my details I saw a red one right next to the guys desk and had to change the colour i originally was getting a black one. Quote
Stuey Posted May 27, 2006 Posted May 27, 2006 I saw one in red less the spoiler and I must admit that it did look pretty hot...I really dont understand why people dont tick the spoiler box on the options list!! they dont look right without them. I think that they where designed to have them but Citroen didnt want to miss a trick and get a few hundred quid from customers...saw a VTS without a spoiler, stupid woman... Quote
Welshguy Posted May 27, 2006 Posted May 27, 2006 I went with black because I knew it would look awesome with tints, rims and lowering :P A better looking "Civic Type R" if you please :D Quote
Stuey Posted May 27, 2006 Posted May 27, 2006 I am very tempted by quite subtle smoke coloured tints at the moment...my wheels are caked in brake dust and road muck and have gone quite a dark grey and they look really quite nice so I was thinking smoke tints and when I get round to buying the VTS wheels have them powder coated grey.. Quote
Welshguy Posted May 27, 2006 Posted May 27, 2006 I'm thinking about getting black rims with polished edges....with the black paint and tints if would look v.mean and racer like (with a 1.4 engine lol) :P Quote
wozza Posted May 27, 2006 Posted May 27, 2006 Think anthracite with a polished lip is where its at myself. Not a fan of black rims but prefer dark rims. Something like the oz super t's in anthractie with the lip polished up might look pretty sweet. And the engine bit you could always drop something bigger in there if you got it heavily modded otherwise just cheaper to buy something else. I know a few clio people did it though but £1,500 it was including the work to drop a 182 lump and running gear into a normal clio thats suspension and everything that was included. Quote
barns Posted May 27, 2006 Posted May 27, 2006 have to admit if i had gone for a 3 door 'wicked red' would have been my choice it looks superb on the car, black is nice but a bitch to keep upto.... Quote
Stuey Posted May 27, 2006 Posted May 27, 2006 not really a fan of black on black personally, with Wozza on the anthracite rims and matching tints... damn it Wozza everytime you mention anything to do with modding I end up adding things to my list!! Quote
wozza Posted May 27, 2006 Posted May 27, 2006 Haha, Well what we like to see nice modded C4's lol. Just a shame I cant do anything to mine now really :( Mainly due to lack of cash and my insurance wouldnt be too happy. Will see though in future. Although I think a white rim would look better on mine not sure though bit too in your face for my liking. Quote
Welshguy Posted May 27, 2006 Posted May 27, 2006 Any ideas on what rims you like? Would be nice to see what other peeps have in mind. I had Boss XTR's on mine before. They were very simple alloys - just big spokes right to the edge of the rim to make them look at big as possible. Quote
Stuey Posted May 27, 2006 Posted May 27, 2006 I would like to have these with that kit too please!! and the engine oh and while you are at it Loeb's wage packet :( Quote
wozza Posted May 27, 2006 Posted May 27, 2006 Im a multispoke fan so things like the OZ super tourismo, ultra leggeras etc are the kind of rims i like. Wouldnt mind seeing what a set of the leggeras would look like on the car. http://www.turnermotorsport.com/image/wheels/wheels_oz_ultra_lg.jpg And i got my spoiler back looks really good guys did a good job of it although could do with some minor adjustment i think but you cant really tell theres a small gap betwenn the glass and spoiler unless the boots open and your really looking for it.
