Mat Posted June 3, 2006 Posted June 3, 2006 Anyone know if this is possible? I'm assuming everyone out there has orange, like me. But have seen this photo: http://img481.imageshack.us/img481/8839/display3ev.jpg Quote
barns Posted June 3, 2006 Posted June 3, 2006 mine is clear, computer / radio display is orange and so is the rev counter but speed display is clear with a hint of blue to it even when lights are on. Quote
syrup Posted June 3, 2006 Posted June 3, 2006 the same as barns (i.e. white appearance) http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y39/bobtim/c4interior3.jpg Quote
wozza Posted June 4, 2006 Posted June 4, 2006 Mines clear in the day and same amber colour as everything else is at night. Quote
lab44 Posted June 4, 2006 Posted June 4, 2006 Mine is the same as Wozzas, like most C4's. I have seen that picture someone else before (the guy was asking about it on a forum). Not sure why his is green and if you can change it. Quote
lee_marshuk Posted June 4, 2006 Posted June 4, 2006 As far as I was aware, some of the continental C4s were green to match the Picasso green.......... Quote
hertsnminds Posted June 5, 2006 Posted June 5, 2006 Well we know the backlight on the rev counter can be orange or red but I would imagine making a mod would depend upon the method used to backlight the display. IanBlack 55 VTR+ Quote

Stuey Posted June 5, 2006 Posted June 5, 2006 red centre console would be awesome!! not sure on the green though... Quote
Mat Posted June 5, 2006 Author Posted June 5, 2006 Blue backlight would match my car very well ! Quote
Stuey Posted June 5, 2006 Posted June 5, 2006 good point, you can get mods to change Ipod screen colours and I would imagine that is pretty much the same technology... Quote
wozza Posted June 5, 2006 Posted June 5, 2006 Probably a couple small led's mounted in the sides that shine through the panel. Quote
Mat Posted June 5, 2006 Author Posted June 5, 2006 Indeed. Easy to replace IF you can get to them. Of course, the warranty wont be worth much afterwards. Quote
wozza Posted June 5, 2006 Posted June 5, 2006 Yeah that would be a problem but hey if you want to do it lol. I wouldnt mind a nice red or blue interior light but im not planning on doing anything like that. Quote
