Welshguy Posted June 21, 2006 Posted June 21, 2006 Just had a phone call from my dad - Citroen rang him yesterday to confirm they had received parts for the brake sqeaking issue mentioned in previous threads. Excellent :D Will ask them to look into the grating noise and small other issues while I'm there. Quote
Stuey Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 they fitted my new callipers a few months ago...I got a letter telling me the parts had arrived with them and to contact a time to arrange to have them fitted :D hello left hand I'm right hand :D Quote
Welshguy Posted June 23, 2006 Author Posted June 23, 2006 lol. I'm now booked in for the brake fix on the 10th July. Gave the reception manager the list of things I would like fixed as well and was told it would be no problem. Also told them about my new alloys, and was told they would be extra careful with them. Thats what I like to hear :D On a side note - both the reception women working in my local Citroen garage are v.good looking....anybody else know good looking Citroen people? :D Quote

Welshguy Posted June 23, 2006 Author Posted June 23, 2006 Why would tyre sensors be required on a brake fix? :D Quote

Guest CE05LDB Posted June 24, 2006 Posted June 24, 2006 When I was at the Citroen Dealer this morning waiting for my C3 to have a new handbreak a C4 owner came in. He was telling me that the clutch sounds like its crunching when you put the car in reverse and the breaks makes a funny noise when in reverse which I said my breaks does the same but not all the time. I have been told though that Citroen are making new softer breaks so you don't get these funny noises but they haven't been sent to the dealers yet. Quote
